NCAA Men's Volleyball Champs

 The Top seeded UCLA men's volleyball team won the 2023 National Collegiate Volleyball Championship in four sets on May 6, 2023 against the two time reigning champs Hawaii. UCLA won in 4 sets with the scores being 28-26, 31-33, 25-21, 25-21. With this win it brings home the 20th NCAA Men's volleyball Championship for UCLA. The team finished with a 31-2 record which is the most wins since the 1995 Bruins who went 32-1 and also won the championship.

With this win UCLA's head coach John Speraw has won the tournament 4 times now. UCLA has many amazing players including Alex Knight who was named Most Outstanding Player in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. His impressive performance hitting over .350 in the matches having 21 kills, 4 aces, 6 blocks. He also has had other rewards but this is by far his most prominent achievement.

  

Now lets talk about Hawaii they had an impressive record of 29-3. They had debatably a better roster than UCLA with more impressive feats. Player of the year Jakob Thelle has been dominating at the  collegiate  level for a while now. He is an outstanding player and had an amazing run in the tournament but an even better regular season. There are many other impressive players on both teams and I implore you to check them out sometime. It is truly amazing how good these young men are.
